Shaylay's Garden Spa
Shayla’s Garden Spa
Shayla grew up dancing ballet, tap, and more, and I see a little of that joy in the way she encourages others to join in and try something new. She brings a warmth that helps those around her feel at ease, offering the kind of encouragement that makes stepping beyond the familiar feel a little more comfortable.
There is something special about a person who helps you feel at ease being yourself—and comfortable enough to discover something new.
Shayla’s Garden Spa began with Shayla herself and the things she loves. Eucalyptus was important from the beginning because it is a scent she especially enjoys. Sage green was another natural choice for her, and I wanted the bar to feel feminine and beautiful without making it overly sweet or traditionally floral.
That became the inspiration for a little garden spa in a bar.
The eucalyptus brings the fresh, clean feeling Shayla loves, while lavender softens it, cedarwood gives it warmth and grounding, and just a touch of geranium brings in the floral note that connects the scent to the garden-inspired design.
The colors tell that same story. A soft sage green forms the foundation, with rose-clay swirls moving through it and a creamy natural top finished with rose petals, eucalyptus, and lavender. Coconut milk and clays help create the smooth, creamy experience I wanted the bar to have.
As those pieces came together, I could see a reflection of what I appreciate about Shayla: a freshness that awakens the senses, paired with a comforting feeling that invites you to settle in and enjoy the experience. Much like a garden, the bar brings different qualities together—fresh greenery beside soft flowers, grounded by the earth beneath them.
The result is a bar meant to turn an ordinary shower into a small garden-spa moment: fresh, peaceful, pretty, and just a little indulgent.
Perhaps that is the reminder tucked inside Shayla’s bar: when we feel comfortable and supported, trying something new can become its own kind of joy. Sometimes all it takes is a gentle invitation—to join in, step beyond the familiar, or make room for a few minutes of beauty and calm in an ordinary day.
